The site’s aggregate counters

The site’s own measurement code records daily totals for page requests, broad referral category, device category and country code. These are separate counters, not individual browsing histories. They do not identify unique people.

The code excludes recognised bots, prefetch requests and non-content paths from new counts. Unrecognised automation and the owner’s visits are not reliably distinguished. Older totals are not recalculated by these filters.

Data stored by these counters

The aggregate records do not contain IP addresses, names, email addresses, visitor identifiers, full user-agent strings, full referring addresses or query parameters. The site’s counter code does not set analytics cookies or use local storage.

The counter update routine removes daily records older than 13 months when it writes new totals.

Hosting and external websites

ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare provide the hosting infrastructure. Delivery of this site involves processing network requests by those providers. The statements about this site’s own counters do not describe or replace the providers’ separate processing and privacy policies.

External publication and LinkedIn links lead to other websites. No external videos or social feeds are embedded on this site.

Email correspondence

There is no contact form or message database on this website. Email links use the visitor’s email application. Messages are handled by the sender’s and recipient’s email services; clicking an email link does not confirm delivery.
